Maori names

For Maori today we did names - we had a google doc and we had to match the correct English names for the Maori names that were written.

First we listened to the sounds and looked at the letters. A lot of the names sound like their English name. We could also look up the names in the Maori Dictionary. 

Next we went down to the mat and got help or got it checked

I enjoyed this weeks Maori learning beacuse I got to write Maori and English names.
