Te Reo Maori

 Today for the summer learning day three task two I did the Te Reo Maori task.

First I watched a video on how to proparly do the task.

Then I went to the slide where I had put the right words into each word that was seperated.

Lastly I put all the remaining words and letters so that it can make the word that it was suppose to.

I enjoyed this summer learning activity because I got to do some Maori and Maori is one of my favourite subjects in school.

Kowhaiwhai template

 Today for the summer learning journey task day three task one I did the kowhaiwhai template.

First I read about tanerore, watched a video about kapa haka and how they were singing a waiata in front of an audience.

Next I drew a desing of a koruwai on a kowhaiwhai template, I had to rotate the desing to make it look like something different.

Lastly I put togerther the desing and made it look like a unique and neet presentation.

I enjoyed making this maori desing because it was interesting and fun to do.

fishing false teeth

 Today for summer learning journey I did a task named fishing false teeth.

First I read an article then Had to fill out an template.

Next I listened to an video wich was about teeth and fishing then there was a comic where I filled in the boxes on what I thought the actors said because the video had no sound.

I enjoyed this weeks summer learning task because I got permition to watch a video and to do a comic.

Art coloring book, summer learning book

 Today for the summer learning journey I did an art project for my first task.

First, I went to the summer learning blog and filled in the spaces of the coloring picture that had been chosen from me.

Next, I chose the original colors to see how it loked then I changes them so the drarwing didnt look plain and look tider, nicer.

After, I finished coloring in the picture I downloaded the file and showed it to my teacher Mr Oglivie.

I enjoyed coloring in the coloring picture because it was smooth and satisfying.

kiwi sport

Today I played a game of touch to learn basic skills.

First we did a warm up which was a throwing ball game there was eight teams on each side Coach Mark threw us the ball then we started to pass it down to the others.

Next we played a game of touch there was three teams I was in team number one we did two and three man settles while we drove down the field with the ball.

I enjoyed this weeks warm up and game because  I ran and didnt get touched that much. 

Maori names

 Today for Maori we learned place names.

First we went to Whea Odie and she explained some of the Maori place names like Pakuranga and Manurewa.

Next we filled out the correct English names in the middle box there was three boxes the first one was 

The Maori version and the middle one was the one where we wrote the English names.

I enjoyed this weeks Maori names learning because I learned the meanings of most place names around Auckland
